“Their massive campaign to promote kindness is the hottest thing to hit the streets of London” - Pam Juhl, The Copenhagen Voice.
The Kindness Offensive was contacted by Great Ormond Street Hospital because they were having difficulties securing gifts for their Muslim children during Ramadan. After a few phone calls it became apparent that this was a problem that was wide spread across all London hospitals. So Kindness Offensive members started calling up the lovely people at Hamley’s, IWantOneOfThose.com and Razor and between these three wonderful companies The Kindness Offensive was able to supply all the needed toys across the capital. Every child not just the Muslim ones got to join in the fun and got a lovely toy.
TKO visited Leap Anywhere’s HQ to individually gift-wrap hundreds of toys, before setting out in a converted ambulance (the ‘Funbalance’), to deliver gifts to children with life-threatening illnesses at various Children’s Hospital wards throughout London. Every child on the children’s ward got a present to help cheer them up!
