Pancake Day, 2010

You’re doing a lot of good for your generation.” Jeni Barnet, LBC Radio Presenter.

Two weeks before Pancake Day we were still unsure if we would be doing any Random Acts of Kindness. Luckily the fabulous Malcom Scovil from Leap Anywhere had mentioned the Pancake Day idea to the guys at the NSPCC, and they loved it! So we teamed up and worked like maniacs for two weeks, to organize our second annual Pancake Day extravaganza!

Pancake Day, 2010

Revellers in Leicester Square enjoyed free pancakes all morning, given out by The Kindness Offensive, in aid of the NSPCC’s ‘Kick Bullying into Touch’ campaign. Numerous celebrities attended the event, including Carole Machin, (MTV and Euro Millions presenter); England Rugby stars Paul Sackey and Joe Simpson, and The Apprentice winner Michelle Dewburry. Everyone lent a kind hand to help serve pancakes and spread the kindness.
