The Starting Out Charity

starting out charity

The Starting Out Charity was founded in 1997, with the aim of revising what being a Charity really means. All our overheads are covered by trustee donations, and everything which is given to us for a cause, gets distributed directly to people who can use these items.

We proudly work as a team with the Kindness Offensive to help distribute goods and services in a creative and fun style, designed to encourage volunteering and kindness in the community. While we do accept cash donations, we do not seek them through any fund-raising, preferring to receive actual goods from companies, which we can then distribute directly to areas in need.

When working on projects in London, we are gratefully guided by suggestions from the Office of the Mayor, Boris Johnson.

The Kindness Offensive is proudly powered by WordPress and supported by Simon Whatley.

The Kindness Offensive teams up with The Starting Out Charity on all its projects.
